Who we are:

California Posse was formed in 2003 by a small group of long-time riders intent on creating a club identity unencumbered by the structure typically found in a corporate-sponsored riding club, while not exactly being a three-patch club either. We support each other’s commitment to family & career, we welcome women as fellow riders, and we emphasize a balance between group safety and individual choice regarding risk as we ride. All of us ride Harleys the majority of the time but that is not a requirement to participate.

Riding with us:

We ride with a designated lead and a sweep. Depending on geography & conditions, a sub-group will form to enjoy sections of the ride at a faster pace. We do not pass judgment on an individual’s preferred riding pace during those sections, but do not tolerate behavior that endangers other participants. We expect our members & guests to have a realistic assessment of their own ability & ride accordingly. We do not attempt to replace sound judgment & individual responsibility with a bunch of rules.

Getting connected:

If you’d like to learn more, click on our calendar & join a ride. Club rides open to the public occur every Saturday,  year-round. It is a good idea to check the calendar the evening before to verify meeting time or weather cancellation. Our Saturday rides are typically day trips in the greater Bay area, on our own or participating in other Bay area MC events.
